Anong pinagkaiba ng course ko sa I.T?
Mas mahirap ang CS. Yun lang ang alam ko.

What is a COMPUTER SCIENCE?
- Computer science is a discipline that spans theory and practice. It requires thinking both in abstract terms and in concrete terms. The practical side of computing can be seen everywhere. Nowadays, practically everyone is a computer user, and many people are even computer programmers. Getting computers to do what you want them to do requires intensive hands-on experience. But computer science can be seen on a higher level, as a science of problem solving. Computer scientists must be adept at modeling and analyzing problems. They must also be able to design solutions and verify that they are correct. Problem solving requires precision, creativity, and careful reasoning.
What is an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY?
- A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program typically lasts three to four years. This degree is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, and networking. In general computer science degrees tend to focus on the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing rather than emphasizing specific technologies. The degree is a Bachelor of Science degree with institutions conferring degrees in the fields of information technology and related fields. This degree is awarded for completing a program of study in the field of software development, software testing, software engineering, computer networking, web design, databases, and programming.

What is the difference between them?
- At the most basic level, Computer Science is a "Hard" Science, well grounded in what is now known in the field of Mathematics as Information Theory. Computer Science (as a field) is concerned with developing new ideas around the use and design of computing systems, and with the mathematical concepts of computation and information.
Information Technology, on the other hand, is a practical Engineering discipline, concerned with implementing solutions to practical problems using current-day technology.

- A computer science degree focuses primarily on programming with an emphasis on the foundations of computers rather than software and hardware applications.
- An information technology degree focuses on application integration, analysis and management. This degree has a greater focus on communication and business.
- An information technology degree is used to obtain jobs such as network manager, web development, messaging administrator, web analyst, business analyst, project manager and technical analyst.
- CS does not normally ask, how does a transistor work? But it must ask, how does a computer work?
- IT does not need to ask, how does a computer work? But it must ask, how does an office system work?
- A computer scientist/engineer might ask: to make it possible for me (or others) to do this, what new system do I need to design and build?
- An information technologist might ask: to make it possible for me (or others) to do this as soon as possible, and with the least disruption, what is there in the catalogues that I can choose to buy?
- But both the computer scientist/engineer and the information technologist are likely to be concerned with cost and effectiveness.
Oh, anu na? Nagets nyo na kung anong pinagkaiba?
Talagang mas mahirap ang CS sa IT. And that's the truth.
More on applications ang IT at more on algorithms ang IT.
But the mere fact is, Both IT and CS are important to the TECHworld :)
So let's join forces :)
Deadma na kung sino ang mas magaling o ano pa man.
Gudluck CS 3-1.
Here we come.
Thesis, were gonna fuck you up good :D
